Conditioning Medicine 2024

5th International Symposium on Conditioning Medicine: Brain and Heart Adaptation

September 30 – October 2, 2024, Naples, IT

Greetings,

On behalf of the International Scientific Committee, I am pleased to announce the 5th International Conference on Conditioning Medicine: Brain and Heart Adaptation, which will be held at the Centro Congressi Federico II in Naples, Italy, from September 30 to October 2, 2024.

The Meeting will focus on fundamental and translational research and will bring together experts from all over the world who are conducting research on methods associated with brain and heart adaptation to hypoxia and other stressful pathophysiologic events.

The programme will include both cutting-edge lectures and free oral and/or poster presentations. Short presentations of crucial new late-breaking science will be added to the interesting scientific sessions already scheduled. The international scientific Committee will lay a strong emphasis on poster presentations and discussions. As a result, no other sessions will take place while the poster is being exhibited. You are warmly encouraged to submit original submissions, which the International Scientific Committee will assess and assign to the programme. Young investigators are invited to participate, thus the registration price is waived for PhD or Postdocs under the age of 35 who attend the conference with a senior researcher.

We look forward to welcome you in Naples, Italy and to share with you our passion for both quality scientific research and efficient networking advances.

Kindest Regards,

……………………………………………

Giuseppe Pignataro

ABOUT NAPLES

Welcome to Naples, the capital of the Campania region and one of Italy’s oldest continuously inhabited urban areas. With a population of 900,000 inhabitants, Naples stands as Italy’s third-largest city, nestled on the stunning Gulf of Naples. Founded by the Greeks in the first millennium BC, Naples carries a rich historical legacy, initially known as Parthenope before being renamed Neápolis in the 6th century BC, symbolizing its enduring significance in Magna Graecia.
Naples’ historic center, Europe’s largest, is a treasure trove of narrow streets, grand piazzas, and ancient landmarks. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the city showcases architectural marvels such as Castel Nuovo and the Royal Palace of Naples. The city’s archaeological museum houses artifacts from nearby Pompeii and Herculaneum, offering glimpses into the past preserved by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.
Beyond its historical allure, Naples pulsates with energy and vibrancy. Its bustling markets, like the famed Mercato di Porta Nolana, offer a vibrant array of colors, scents, and flavors. Renowned as the birthplace of pizza, Naples boasts a culinary scene celebrated for its authenticity and flavor.
Surrounded by natural splendors including Mount Vesuvius and the enchanting islands of Capri and Ischia, Naples invites exploration and adventure. Whether meandering along the waterfront or exploring ancient ruins, visitors are captivated by the city’s blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. Welcome to Naples, where every street corner reveals a chapter in the captivating tale of this extraordinary city.
